    Default Posting Videos

    Hi All,

I have several videos I would like to post on my web page. Approximately 70 MB each however HM only allows up to 50.

Is there any solution around this. It is all very new to me.

    thanks in advance,

    Jo

I'm not aware of any file size limits. Can you elaborate? Where did you learn of a 50MB limit?

yes, certainly, while I was trying to upload my video from my computer, it came up across my screen "upload max 50mb"

and when my upload failed, the message was "max 50 mb exceeded"

    Or wording of that sort...

    thanks

I assume you are trying to upload videos through the cPanel File Manager because there is where this limitation is normally seen.

Try uploading through FTP. You should not encounter the same cap.

That's probably the issue. Hostmonster itself has no limitations on file size. It's just the upload manager. I use Filezilla for all my uploads, and it works great.

You could always compress video files, chances are if the video is under 5 mins you can get it under 10 megs.

Here's a tutorial from Hostmonster support. It's a little old, but everything should still work: http://helpdesk.hostmonster.com/inde...article/000264
