    Default Webmail Login Page for Squirelmail

    I want to create a page that has a login form to directly send me to squirelmail.

    I want to creat my own page for customization and later to eliminate the "@yourdonain.com" from the username and add "remember me" function(not in the code below). -its all about looking nice and reducing steps...

    this is what I have so far

    <form action="http://www.yourdomain.com:2095/3rdparty/squirrelmail/index.php" method="POST">
    Username: <input type="test" name="user" value="" size="20" /><br />
    Password: <input type="password" name="pass" value="" size="20" /><br />
    <input type="submit" value="Login" />
    </form>

    upon completing the fields and clicking "Login" it brings up a popup box re asks uname&pass and then clicking login it goes where I want to go.
    as if its not taking the username and password data from the code in the first step. Please Help me Im kind of new at this. Is the code wrong or do I need to do some filemanager rearanging of some sort? any help, tutorials or templates would be greatly appreciated

    and also i cant seem to get the secure login to work either (2096) anyone else having dificulty?

    Moved post because it's a more advanced question, not a general one.
